Elika Dadsetan-Foley, MA, JD, EdD, and MSW (2022), Adjunct Lecturer within the SPS Center for Global Affairs and has experience working in the humanitarian and development field abroad for almost a decade, specifically in education in emergencies, development/implementation of psychosocial activities, and child protection with various UN agencies and INGOs. She also worked as a criminal attorney, directors in nonprofits, including violence prevention and restorative justice organizations, as an administrator in higher education, and has taught K-12 and higher education for the past 15 years. In addition, she has taught at California State University at Dominguez Hills and University of Duhok, and currently serves as the CEO of VISIONS, Inc., a nonprofit with a mission to empower the creation of environments where differences are recognized, understood, appreciated, and utilized for the benefit of all through both time-tested and innovating training and tools, public advocacy, and consulting models addressing personal, interpersonal, cultural, and institutional levels of oppression.

At NYUSPS, Elika Dadsetan-Foley teaches Introduction to Restorative Justice, starting fall 2021.
