Michael is passionate about educating and empowering the next generation of change-makers and project management leaders. As an adjunct faculty member at New York University, he teaches courses in project management, leading global organizations, and agile leadership, leveraging their expertise to help students build the competencies and confidence needed for success in their chosen fields. He holds a Master of Science degree with Distinction in Integrated Marketing from New York University, where he received the Dean's Scholar Award and the President's Service Award. Additionally, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and an Officer Emeritus for NYU's LGBTQ+ Alumni Network.
As the Director of Systems Delivery, Michael has the unique opportunity in a newly created role to combine his product and project management expertise, along with industry knowledge, to address the technology needs of the Central Park Conservancy. Focused on efficiency, optimization, and agility in adapting to an evolving tech landscape, he is committed to advancing the Conservancy's mission of preserving and celebrating Central Park as a haven from the pace and pressures of urban life, enhancing enjoyment and wellbeing for all.
With over 20 years of experience in project management, product management/ownership, operations, strategic management, agile expertise, and customer-centric solutions, he oversees daily operations, technology strategy, roadmap development, and both internal and external product management for his technology team. His leadership drives on-time project completion, operational excellence, productivity innovations, and effective resource procurement.
