Founded in 1995, the Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality was established in response to the growing need for hospitality undergraduate and graduate education. Its mission is to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to advance their careers in the hospitality, events, travel and tourism sectors. Through an innovative curriculum taught by a faculty of expert practitioners, students gain an in-depth understanding of these dynamic fields.
The Tisch Center offers multiple degree programs including an MS in Hospitality Industry Studies, an MS in Event Management, an MS in Travel and Tourism Management, and a BS in Hotel Management. Across these programs, the Tisch Center is committed to ensuring that students gain first-hand understanding of the global hospitality industry. Its faculty members are highly respected experts in their fields, who provide a global perspective and deep insight into the paradigm shifts occurring in the industry. The Tisch Center sets the standard for professionally focused events, including the annual NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference, which has been hosted in New York City for more than 40 years, attracts a global audience, and features top industry executives.
