The NYU Advanced Publishing Institute (NYU API) is a premier executive education course designed for mid to senior-level publishing professionals interested in the latest strategies and business practices in book publishing. This five-day program will take place January 6-10, 2025, on-campus at NYU.

“These are the changemakers, these are the influencers; to have an audience with them, and to hear from them, it’s an incredible experience that I would never pass up.”
Kimberly Ayers Shariff, EVP, Director of Strategy for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Penguin Random House

Sessions will take place from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm daily. There will also be breaks scheduled throughout each day, to allow attendees to network with fellow industry professionals. Lectures and workshops will be conducted by leading publishing executives. Through case studies, problem-solving exercises, and analysis of successful strategies, attendees will deepen their understanding of the industry and come away with innovative ideas and fresh perspectives on today’s workplace.
